Drawings and paintings
Walter Rijke (2003) is a young, talented artist with a free and authentic approach. He mainly draws a lot of cars with a freehand pencil. Walter thinks the use of rulers is not done. He outlines existing car brands and Walter regularly designs a model himself. Artists such as Herman Brood, Karel Appel and Corneille are a major source of inspiration for Walter’s work. This website provides an image of his drawings and paintings.

The smallest car
In the Louwman museum in The Hague there was a special exhibition with small cars. The smallest car in the world could also be admired there. This inspired Walter to make this drawing.
